Ohio hunter education is for people with little or no knowledge of hunting or firearms. If you've had experience with hunting, shooting, and the outdoors, you may be able to skip hunter education through proficiency testing.
Once you've completed the course work, you'll be given a 100-question test which includes a mix of multiple choice, matching, and true/false questions. A student must score 80% or higher on the test to pass and obtain certification.
Classes for 2012: April 16, 17, & 19
August 20, 21, & 23.
September 17, 18, & 20.
November 12, 13, & 15.
Classes start at 6:00pm and run until 9 to 9:15 pm.
Classes are free to the public. Please try to come early the first night to fill out paper work.
We will hold a Youth Shoot open to Youth who have passed the Hunter Education class.
April 21, August 25, September 22 and November 17. Shoots will start at 11:00 am.

Cliff and Matt work together to offer one day (12 hour) classes once a month. The class cost is $125 and includes the use of classroom handguns/ammunition in a variety of calibers and styles- or $100 for students using their own handgun and ammunition.
